It still seems that there is no progress in the peeping tom case involving ESPN sideline reporter Erin Andrews.

It has been the big topic on all the major network morning shows and Andrews has said very little involving the incident.

According to her attorney, steps are being made to make sure that Andrews is protected from any kind of future intrusion.

Erin Andrews, the ESPN sideline reporter for the network’s college football and basketball telecasts, was the victim of a peeping tom who had posted a video of her naked in an undisclosed hotel room.

Some sources are now saying that there might not be any way that the person can prosecuted so there is a huge legal issue in the making. Another big item involving this case was websites who had posted the video were entrapping viewers with malicious spyware.

The press junket for Katherine Heigl and Gerard Butler's new film "The Ugly Truth" held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, California on Saturday, July 18 was put on hold after the hotel received a telephone bomb threat. Both film stars were soon evacuated from the venue alongside 400 other guests. The evacuation reportedly occurred just before 2 P.M.

Heigl and Butler waited outside the building for two hours while the Los Angeles Police Department were investigating the premise. An onlooker told People that Butler even managed to take some pics with members of the AC Milan soccer team, who were in town to play the Los Angeles Galaxy on Sunday night, July 19. Soon thereafter Butler and Heigl made their way to the nearby Il Cielo restaurant.

Following a police sweep of the property, all guests were allowed to get back into the hotel as police found no threat at the building. Neither Butler nor Heigl has commented on the matter though. "The Ugly Truth" itself, in the meantime, is slated to come to U.S. theaters this coming Friday, July 24.

For fans who fail to get a hold of tickets to Michael Jackson's memorial service at Los Angeles' Staples Center, staying at home and watching it through TV can be an option. TV networks are on standby mode to broadcast the remembrance on Tuesday, July 7 live.

E! said on Saturday, July 4 that it will carry live and stream online the memorial service starting at 10 A.M. PT. The broadcast will be available live at anywhere in the world where E! can be seen. Music channels like MTV, VH1 and VH1 Classic meanwhile, will start broadcasting at 1 P.M. ET.

CBS News which has been covering heavily since Michael's death on June 25, released the following statement. "Based on current plans, CBS News will provide comprehensive coverage anchored by Katie Couric of Michael Jackson's memorial at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, as well as the events and activities surrounding the memorial via the CBS Television Network, CBSNews.com and CBS Radio News."

A total of 17,500 tickets are given for free to fans who wish to attend the memorial service. 11,000 of them will be able to watch the process from inside the building while the rest are to view the service from a simulcast at Nokia Theater. StaplesCenter.com which is the place to register for the tickets has crashed due to the huge traffic, but AEG Live is working on adding providers.
